Professional Accreditations & Affiliations

One of the most important aspects of any business is setting yourself apart from your competition.  Susan has achieved this through professional accreditation with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), as well as obtaining certification with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and successfully meeting the requirements for the State of Indiana Professional Licensing Agency with the Indiana Interior Design Registry (RID).

National Council for Interior Design Qualification

Holding a NCIDQ Certificate demonstrates that Susan is uniquely qualified through education, experience and examination to competently practice interior design.  The Certificate attests to her qualifications to employers, state regulators and the general public and identifies her as an interior designer who is qualified to design and execute interior spaces that protect public health, safety and welfare.  An NCIDQ Certificate is required for professional membership in the American Society of Interior Designers.

As a Professional ASID member, Susan has met all of the education, experience and NCIDQ Certification requirements necessary for membership and agrees to abide by the Society’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.  These requirements must be met before an interior designer may be accepted for registry or licensure in Indiana.

Meeting the rigid requirements for NCIDQ and ASID qualifies Susan for Professional Licensure with the Indiana State Registry as a Professional Interior Designer.

National Kitchen and Bath Association

Specific and technical education in addition to qualified experience in kitchen and bath design has elevated Susan to affiliation with NKBA.  Susan has designed award-winning kitchens and several of her kitchen designs have been published in national magazines.
